The Infrastructure and Network Manager will be responsible for managing the activities of the UTGFS / RU. Under the supervision of the Director of Information Systems, he / she will be responsible for the following tasks: Needs analysis and technological watch Gather the necessary information and study the software needs. Recommend software solutions in response to needs and advise on final choices. Write the specifications containing the technical specifications of the software. Write tenders and analyze manufacturers' proposals in terms of performance, reliability and compatibility. Ensure a technological watch to guarantee the optimization of system resources. Implementation and integration of the selected operating systems Design or adapt the selected basic software. Configure and size the hardware solutions selected according to the performance required by the software. Test the systems in place and ensure that the elements are compatible with each other. Write and update operating procedures and instructions and documentation. Ensure the security and reliability of the systems. Infrastructure maintenance Diagnose and repair breakdowns and malfunctions related to hardware or software. Ensure scalable and corrective maintenance based on major technological developments and user satisfaction. Train and educate users on networks and security in order to optimize the use they make of them. Advise the IT team on the use of system resources. Take over network administration tasks to manage user access rights. Resolve the problems detected on a site: Find the origin of the problems, Make the necessary corrections, Put these corrections online without interrupting the operation of the site. Respect and enforce safety standards and procedures.
